Luka created ATARAXI as a way of communicating his work in an online portfolio, with an alias which represented his core values in which he displays through his architecture.
The term 'ATARAXI' stems from the study of ancient Greek philosophy of Epicureanism. The thought that achieving a good life is found through the absence of pain and distress is defined as 'ataraxy' / 'ataraxia.' These are key principles for Luka's way of life and he aspires to portray them through his work.
Luka adopted ATARAXI with an 'I,' due to the personal value that the ideology has for him, as it encapsulates a profound commitment to tranquillity and balance that resonates with his dedication to architecture.
